COMPLUTENSE UNIVERSITY OF MADRID

Description:

The COGNITION, EMOTION AND HEALTH Research Group has focused its research endeavours on the study of the relationships between Cognition, Emotion and Health, especially the links that biases or cognitive errors (attention and cognitive assessment) have with anxiety and stress, spreading to other applied fields where these reactions are particularly relevant; for example, the clinical and health domains. The group’s main line of research revolves around evidence-based treatment using psychological techniques (cognitive-behavioural type) that addresses emotional disorders (especially anxiety, mood, depressive and somatization disorders) and stress disorders in the Primary Health Care context.
