Specifically, in this book Maite Garaigordobil brings together the scientific knowledge available on the importance of play in child development and emphasizes the need for adults to stimulate it at school, in the family and in children’s leisure spaces. It also provides information on psychomotor, intellectual, cooperative, creative and affective games with practical ideas to promote the development of children’s personality.
