WHAT IS LEVEL UP?
This is the European project “Setting the ground for a multi-level approach on developing soft skills in Higher Education”.
OBJECTIVES
The demand for highly qualified, efficient, healthy and socially engaged citizens and employees is increasing. Skills mismatches pose a huge economic and social burden in the EU and compromise the employability, well-being and quality of life of millions of Europeans.
Higher education institutions, as drivers of broader socio-economic change and innovation, house a significant proportion of the future workforce. Although higher education students commonly graduate with excellent technical academic skills to perform well in their future career and life in general, there is much debate whether higher education graduates have also developed enough essential transversal/soft skills to perform well and be successful in different aspects of life. life.
In this context, the main objectives of this project are:
- Provide new understanding of the transversal skills of higher education students.
- Develop innovative educational material and tools for training in transversal skills.
- Integrate all material produced into an applicable framework for training in transversal skills.
