Red interdisciplinar para la PROmoción de la salud y bienestar Emocional en las personas jóvenes

Telematic meeting between the professor of the University of Jaén and main responsible for this project for the early detection of emotional problems in adolescents, and the General Manager Silvia Valmaña.

6/03/2023.- Luis Joaquín García, professor at the University of Jaén (UJA), presented the initiative ‘Detection of Adolescents at High Risk of Emotional Problems: Exploring the role of Epigenetics and Language for Indicated Prevention in Mental Health’ (DAREMOS) to Silvia Valmaña, General Director of Childhood, Family and Promotion of Birth of the Community of Madrid.

In their telematic meeting, Luis Joaquín García presented the results of DAREMOS, a project that has helped more than 400 adolescents and their families emotionally during the pandemic stage.

Likewise, Luis Joaquín García valued the impact of DAREMOS as a pioneering worldwide interdisciplinary initiative (Psychology, Epigenetics, Corpus Linguistics and Big Data) focused on the early identification of adolescents at high risk of developing emotional problems.

The DAREMOS initiative is a nationwide project with the participation of researchers from different departments of the UJA and the Institute of Biomedical Research of Malaga (IBIMA), in collaboration with Yotta Code, spin off of the UJA.

The DAREMOS initiative is a project co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Ministry of Economy and Knowledge of the Andalusian Regional Government, with the participation of researchers from different departments of the UJA and the Institute of Biomedical Research of Malaga (IBIMA), in collaboration with Yotta Code, spin off of the UJA.
