Red interdisciplinar para la PROmoción de la salud y bienestar Emocional en las personas jóvenes

PROADEMO, protagonist in the informative program ‘Campus’ of Radio Torredonjimeno

08/03/2023.- The professor of the University of Jaén (UJA), Luis Joaquín García was interviewed last Monday, March 7 in the informative program ‘Campus’ of Radio Torredonjimeno about the project ‘PROmocionAnDo the health and EMOtional well-being of adolescents in the educational sector, health and society’ (PROADEMO).

In his speech, Luis Joaquín García elaborated on the objectives of PROADEMO, which aims to design and develop a digital training package, aimed at school staff, health workers, youth technicians and young people themselves, so that they can improve their skills and knowledge to provide mental health services to adolescents at risk of developing emotional problems as a result of the pandemic.

PROADEMO, led by UJA, is a project (PDC2022-133401-I00/AEI/10.13039/501100011033) funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the State Research Agency and the European Union, through the “Next Generation EU” funds within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Its External Advisory Board includes the Spanish Youth Institute (INJUVE), attached to the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, the Spanish Confederation of Organizations of Psychopedagogy and Guidance (COPOE), the Spanish Association of Mutual Help against Social Phobia and Anxiety Disorders (AMTAES), the Comprehensive Health Group of the Federación Estatal de Lesbianas, Gais, Trans, Bisexuales, Intersexuales y más (FELGTBI+), the Asociación Asturiana para la Atención y Cuidado de la Infancia (ASACI) and the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA).
