Red interdisciplinar para la PROmoción de la salud y bienestar Emocional en las personas jóvenes

The PROADEMO project provides a free emotional training course aimed at professionals in the health, educational and youth fields.

A total of 50 people have participated in this pilot experience to contribute to evaluating and improving the final materials of the PROADEMO Training Guide for emotional training for professionals.

2/5/2024.- The project ‘PROMOTING the health and EMOtional well-being of adolescents in the educational, health and society sectors’ (PROADEMO) continues with its planned schedule for the preparation of materials with the holding of a free workshop emotional training aimed at professionals in the health, educational and youth technical fields.

The researcher from the University of Jaén (UJA), Manuel Vivas, was in charge of directing three groups made up of a total of 50 people, who have participated in this pilot experience to contribute to evaluating and improving the final result of the materials of the PROADEMO Training Guide for Emotional Training for Professionals.

Each group participating in the training activity attended three online sessions during the month of April with the objective of learning the tools and strategies through this emotional training package that PROADEMO offers to this type of professionals in regular contact with adolescents. All of this focused from the emotional level of the adolescent, with the aim of learning to understand and manage the emotions to which they are subjected in an affective and respectful manner.

Following the workshop and to contribute to a better understanding of the impact and effectiveness of the training package, the PROADEMO team has examined the following types of results with the participants in the pilot phase: acceptability, adoption, appropriateness, feasibility, fidelity, cost of implementation, coverage and sustainability of the training package, which will be shared at the next meeting of the External Advisory Council scheduled for May in Malaga.

PROADEMO is a PDC2022-133401-I00 project funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 (Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the State Research Agency and the European Union through the “Next Generation EU” funds within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience).

In addition, it has an External Advisory Council made up of entities such as the Spanish Youth Institute (INJUVE), attached to the Ministry of Youth and Children, the Spanish Youth Council (CJE), the European Youth Information and Advice Agency (ERYICA), the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi), the FELGTBI+ Comprehensive Health group, the Confederation of Psychopedagogy and Guidance Organizations of Spain (COPOE), the Spanish Association for Mutual Aid against Social Phobia and Anxiety Disorders ( Amtaes), the Andalusian Association of Youth Technicians (AATJ) and the Asturian Association for the care and attention of children (Asaci).
