12/2/2025.- Inmaculada Gómez, Professor of Psychology at the University of Almería, and Luis Joaquín García, Professor of Psychology at the University of Jaén, both within the framework of the PROEMO Network, met with the Director of Educational Programs, Sandra Camós of the Princess of Girona Foundation and other entities.
Specifically, the purpose of the invitation to the Network was to advise on the creation of a personal workbook and emotional support in the context of support for adolescents who have suffered from DANA, together with other collaborators of the Foundation and with Aula Planeta.
During the meeting, different initiatives carried out within the PROEMO Network (RED2022-134247-T), whose purpose is to join forces to promote the health and emotional wellbeing of adolescents, composed of the University of Jaén, Rovira i Virgili University, Miguel Hernández University, Autonomous University of Madrid, University of Deusto, University of Almería, University of Málaga and IBIMA – Bionand Platform, were shared. ). Likewise, the report and roadmap for 2025 was shared, aimed at detecting current gaps and providing recommendations for the promotion of health and emotional well-being of adolescents and other actions of the network, such as the “Forest of Parentality” conducted by Prfa Dr. Inmaculada Gómez (UAL), issues on sexting, ghosting and (cyber)victimization led by Prfa Dr. Esther Calvete and Prf. Dr. Manu Gámez (UDeusto and UAM, respectively), the covitality model whose maximum exponent in Spain is Prf. José Antonio Piqueras (UMH), the role of nutrition and healthy habits (Prf. Dr. Fina Canals, URV) and early detection (Prf. Dr. Patricia Moreno, UMA), as well as to the implementation at UJA of PROCARE (PID 2019-111138RB-I00/AEI/10.13039/501100011033), DIGITAS (PDC2021-121882-I00) and PROADEMO (PDC2022-133401-I00/AEI/10.13039/501100011033).
The PROEMO Network has the collaboration and support of an External Advisory Council made up of nine entities: the Spanish Youth Institute (INJUVE), attached to the Ministry of Youth and Children, the Spanish Youth Council (CJE), the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA), the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi), the Integral Health group of the FELGTBI+, the Asociación Española de Ayuda Mutua contra Fobia Social y Trastornos de Ansiedad (AMTAES), the Confederación de Organizaciones de Psicopedagogía y Orientación de España (COPOE), the Federación de Asociaciones de Profesionales de Juventud de Andalucía and the Asociación Asturiana para la atención y el cuidado de la infancia (ASACI).
