Assistance to the Princess of Girona 2025 Awards Ceremony at the Liceu in Barcelona under the presidency of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain.

Within the framework of the collaboration between the Princess of Girona Foundation and the PROEMO network and the PROMOBIENESTAR Chair, Professor Luis Joaquín García attended, by personal and non-transferable invitation, representing the aforementioned Network and Chair, the Princess of Girona 2025 Awards ceremony, presided over by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses the Princess of Asturias and Girona and the Infanta Sofía at the emblematic Liceu Theatre in Barcelona. The ceremony was attended by Salvador Illa, President of the Generalitat de Catalunya; Jordi Hereu, Minister of Industry and Tourism; Carlos Prieto, Government Delegate in Catalonia; Jaume Collboni Cuadrado, Mayor of Barcelona; Francisco Belil, President of the Princess of Girona Foundation; The event was attended by the following members of the Government of Catalonia: Mónica Martínez, Catalan Minister for Social Rights and Inclusion; Nuria Montserrat, Catalan Minister for Research and Universities; Berni Álvarez, Catalan Minister for Sport; Sonia Hernández, Catalan Minister for Culture; Javier Villamayor, Secretary of the Government; Lluïsa Moret, President of Barcelona Provincial Council; and Salvador Alemany, President of the Gran Teatre del Liceu Foundation. Also in attendance were the mayors of Catalonia, David Quirós, Mayor of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, and Xavier Garcia Albiol, Mayor of Badalona; several mayors from the province of Girona; the mayors of Catarroja and Aldaia, from Valencia, and the Mayor of Badajoz, among other authorities and trustees of the Princess of Girona Foundation.

Last January, the Princess of Girona Foundation launched a Special Intervention Plan for young people in Valencia in response to the consequences of the effects of the ARAD to provide support to young people affected, including a health and wellbeing strand. The Princess of Girona Foundation promoted this intervention plan in Valencia with the aim of supporting educational centres, promoting the recovery of purposeful youth entrepreneurship, fostering and protecting emotional well-being and giving a voice to cultural events and projects that contribute to improving the collective state of mind. Along these lines, and together with other collaborators of the Foundation and with Aula Planeta, a Well-being Notebook was created with the participation of members of the Network: Prfa. Professor of Psychology at the University of Almeria, Inmaculada Gómez, and from the UJA, Prf. Luis Joaquín García and Prfa. Lourdes Espinosa. The aim of the Fundació’s invitation was to advise on the creation of a personal workbook and emotional support in the context of support for adolescents and young people who had suffered from DANA. During the meetings, the report and roadmap for 2025 of the PROEMO network, aimed at detecting current shortcomings and providing recommendations for the promotion of the health and emotional well-being of adolescents and young people, was also shared, with the Princess of Girona Foundation contributing its proposals as part of the External Advisory Board of the PROEMO network. At the Princess of Girona Awards ceremony, a video was shared in which the materials of the Emotional Well-being Notebook, in which the Chair participated in its creation, could be seen. The PROEMO Network is a network of excellence (RED2022-134247-T) funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 (Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the State Research Agency) through the State Programme to promote scientific-technical research and its transfer, within the framework of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2021-2023. The network is made up of the University of Jaén, Rovira i Virgili University, Miguel Hernández University, Autonomous University of Madrid, University of Deusto, University of Almería, University of Málaga and IBIMA – Bionand Platform. The PROEMO Network has the collaboration and support of an External Advisory Council made up of nine entities: the Spanish Youth Institute (INJUVE), attached to the Ministry of Youth and Children, the Spanish Youth Council (CJE), the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA), the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi), the Integral Health group of the FELGTBI+, the Asociación Española de Ayuda Mutua contra Fobia Social y Trastornos de Ansiedad (AMTAES), the Confederación de Organizaciones de Psicopedagogía y Orientación de España (COPOE), the Federación de Asociaciones de Profesionales de Juventud de Andalucía and the Asociación Asturiana para la atención y el cuidado de la infancia (ASACI).

The Princess of Girona Foundation is a private, non-profit foundation aimed at accompanying and training young people in order to improve and promote their professional development, their personal growth and their incorporation into the labour market, so that they can contribute to building a better future for all. HRH The Princess of Asturias and Girona has been the Honorary President of the Princess of Girona Foundation since her father’s proclamation as King on 19 June 2014.

The song was presented for the first time at the Princess of Girona 2025 Awards Ceremony. It is available on all platforms. By listening to it and sharing it, in addition, the profits generated by the royalties will go to the Valencia plan, with more educational concerts in the schools of Valencia through AmplificARTE, a project of the Foundation that works for education in values and the improvement of emotional wellbeing in the classroom.
