Thursday, 30 October 2025

Rector Nicolás Ruiz, who was accompanied at the presentation by the president of the San Vicente de Mogón Cooperative, José Gilabert, and the director of the UJA’s Secretariat for Communication and Scientific Dissemination, Julio A. Olivares, presented this scientific dissemination initiative.

With this initiative, we are bringing the high-impact science we develop in our laboratories closer to society, thereby contributing to the dissemination of the knowledge generated at the UJA among the general public and, therefore, to building the university and the province,” said Nicolás Ruiz.

In this regard, the Rector listed the objectives pursued by this project, which are aligned with those of the UJA’s 16th Scientific Dissemination and Innovation Plan, within which it is framed: to showcase the potential of UJA researchers; to awaken scientific vocations; to continue training and supporting our research staff involved in dissemination activities; and to show society the results of the research carried out by the UJA.

Finally, Julio Ángel Olivares, director of the UJA’s Secretariat for Communication and Scientific Dissemination, explained that this recognition is intended to be a tool for scientific dissemination for outstanding research projects.
