INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCORE INITIATIVE

PROCORE is a FREE online workshop designed for young adults (ages 18-29) looking to improve their emotional well-being and develop skills to cope with challenging life situations. Through a practical and evidence-based approach, they work on strategies to manage emotions, thoughts and behaviors in a healthier way.

To access the workshop, you must complete an initial questionnaire, which lasts approximately 20 minutes. If, through this questionnaire, a high level of emotional risk is detected, you will be offered the possibility of participating in the workshop, where you will receive tools adapted to your needs. If no risk is detected or if the results indicate a situation that requires another type of intervention, you will be informed of this, but you will not be included in the workshop due to its characteristics. All persons who complete the survey will receive information about their emotional state free of charge.

The implementation of PROCORE has been promoted by the Provincial Council of Jaén, within the framework of its brand Jaenicolas, the PROEMO network of excellence and the PROMOBIENESTAR Chair.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

The workshop is conducted in online format and consists of 8 main sessions + additional sessions that you will access according to your needs (and that will be scheduled in date and time with your group), each with a duration of one hour. The sessions will be held every Monday, from Monday, April 28th to June 23rd.

Places are limited, so please sign up only if your schedule is compatible and you can attend most of the sessions. Remember that your place may be filled by someone else who needs it.

The program consists of 8 main sessions:

  • Session 1 – Presentation of the initiative: Introduction to the workshop, expectations and personal objectives.

  • Session 2 – Understanding emotions: Exploration of the role of emotions and how they influence daily life.

  • Session 3 – Emotional awareness: Mindfulness techniques and emotional regulation.

  • Session 4 – Thinking more flexibly: Identifying and changing limiting thought patterns.

  • Session 5 – Emotional behaviors: Relationship between emotions and behavior, regulation strategies.

  • Session 6 – Coping with physical sensations: Managing stress and anxiety from the body.

  • Session 7 – Emotional exposures: Progressive coping with situations that generate discomfort.

  • Session 8 – Looking to the future: Synthesis of learning and planning for long term wellness.

In addition, extra sessions are offered for those who need specific support in:

  • Healthy lifestyle habits: Reflection on eating, exercise and sleep.
  • Adjustment of expectations and adversities: Development of resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Social skills and assertiveness: Effective communication and limit setting.
  • Discrimination and support: Strategies for dealing with situations of exclusion.
  • Social networks and their effect: Impact on emotional health and conscious use.
